Joanne Holt – Registered Personal Trainer for 22 years, group fitness instructor, resistance training instructor, seated yoga instructor, Block Therapy Instructor (fascia, lymph meditation), and Metabolic Terrain Advocate under the guidance of Dr. Nasha Winters, a 33+ year stage 4 Ovarian Cancer Thriver. Currently enrolled in an Advanced Integrative Metabolic Course to truly expand on the terrain-based strategies to apply the metabolic approach to a clinic setting.   

Cancer touches most of us as 1 in 2 will be diagnosed.  I was diagnosed with Melanoma in 2012 and drawing on my own experience in the holistic health care world realized it was not about the mole I was born with.  It is so much more. I dove in deep physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically and I am now so grateful to be able to share all that I have learnt with others. 93% of people are not metabolically healthy.   When we understand terrain work, we can truly guide our clients and ourselves.   I am now enrolled in The Advanced Integrative Metabolic Course under the guidance of Dr. Nasha Winters, a Cancer thriver for 33 years.  And more recently I have added a Terrain Fitness Course certification in 2025.

The Terrain Advocate Program, offered by the Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health (MTIH), is a comprehensive educational program designed to empower individuals with a foundational understanding of the Terrain-Based Approach® to health. Developed by Dr. Nasha Winters, the program educates participants on how to support and advocate for holistic, individualized health strategies grounded in systems biology, metabolic health, and integrative oncology.
